Fluidization Cone FC

The fluidization cone is a tool which prevents and ensures that the bulk material in a silo or container continues to flow freely and can be handled easily by effectively blowing air into the bulk material.

Fluidization of the bulk material takes place through a hard-wearing synthetic fibre cloth. The fluidization cloth is attached to a perforated internal cone.

Compressed air is added to the lower side of the cloth through a feeding pipe, which is then distributed under the dense cloth surface before penetrating the cloth and moving further up into the material.

In this way, fluidization of the bulk material is achieved, resulting in less adhesion between the bulk material particles and gives improved flow properties.
