Compactor

BERGU’s screw compactors are especially developed and adapted for integration in our automated small bag emptiers, but may also be used for other applications.

Garbage bag or endless plastic bag is threaded onto the compactor tube. The waste that falls into the compactor is transported and compacted by a compactor screw into the attached bag.

When compacting 150 l paper bags, approximately 125 bags are hold per meter of plastic bag. The compactor is equipped with a powerful 3 kW gear motor and axial ball bearing.

A limit switch indicates when the bag is full.
